The short answer
If your students also sit the ISEE or SSAT, which Test Innovators covers, the closest alternatives are HighScores.ai (the HSPT and some ISEE and SSAT levels) and StudySpaces; MentoMind covers the HSPT and lists the ISEE as coming soon. If you teach the digital SAT only, look at PrepMora, PanoPrep and VindicaOS, which also covers AP. If you want to see prices before a call, EdisonOS (with Enterprise and schools priced by quote), HighScores.ai, StudySpaces, VEGA AI and VindicaOS publish theirs; if you would rather pay per test, look at PanoPrep and TutorWand.
We make PrepMora, so it comes first. Our other two picks are chosen by what they do best, not scored, and the full list follows in alphabetical order. Every fact comes from each company's own website, checked on 24 October 2026, and no company paid to be included.

What to compare against Test Innovators
Test Innovators' own website gives these points to hold an alternative against:
- Exams: the ISEE, SSAT, HSPT, PSAT/NMSQT, SAT and ACT. It describes itself as the only official practice for the ISEE and an official SSAT partner, and it has been in business since 2012.
- Full-length SAT tests: 12, which it describes as adaptive, scored with item response theory calibrated on data from over 1,000 students, plus 1,700+ more practice questions.
- Test screen: its digital SAT page says its tests are deliberately harder than Bluebook while keeping the SAT's structure. Its website does not say whether its practice tests include Desmos.
- Teacher tools: students grouped by tutor and class, targeted homework, results by question difficulty and type, and pacing compared with other students.
- Parents: visual score reports a tutor can share; no parent report is described.
- White-label: your logo, domain and contact information, set up by Test Innovators.
- Price: student plans published on its pricing page; educators get a discount on student pricing, larger in bulk, get the educator tools free with five student licences, and can give each student one full-length SAT practice test free; bulk and white-label prices are not published.
- Extras: practice with 1.5x or 2x time; a money-back guarantee on its larger student packages if the official score does not go up, for students with a prior official SAT score who complete at least eight full-length practice tests; and an AI Study Buddy chat with 10 free conversations in every account, more as a paid add-on.
The table and the entries below show where each alternative differs on these points. The full head-to-head is on PrepMora vs Test Innovators.

The alternatives, one by one
PrepMora first, as ours, then the rest in alphabetical order.
PrepMora
PrepMora covers the digital SAT only, where Test Innovators covers six exams. It has 40 full-length SAT tests in the Bluebook format against Test Innovators' 12, built-in Desmos (the Math explanations show the keystrokes step by step), parent report drafts in one of eight languages that the mentor edits and sends, white-label at no extra cost from the free trial, and an AI-scored reading drill. It is sold to academies and tutors, not to students on their own; it does not cover the ISEE, SSAT, HSPT, PSAT or ACT, and it does not publish prices. Compared in detail: PrepMora vs Test Innovators.
Best for: SAT-only academies that want depth in the digital SAT, a mentor panel built around the teacher's week and parent reports in one of eight languages that the mentor edits and sends.
EdisonOS
Like Test Innovators it covers several exams, but a different set: the SAT, ACT and PSAT plus the SHSAT and five AP subjects, rather than the ISEE, SSAT and HSPT. It lists 15 full-length SAT tests (one FAQ on its SAT page says 20) and the Desmos calculator in its test screen, gives parents their own login, and lets you build tests from your own questions. It is sold to solo tutors, tutoring businesses, schools and community programs, not to students, and it publishes usage-based prices with a cost estimator; Enterprise and schools are priced by quote. Compared in detail: PrepMora vs EdisonOS.
Best for: Academies that teach several exams, want to upload their own questions and prefer published, usage-based pricing.
HighScores.ai
A close match on exams: like Test Innovators it covers the HSPT alongside the SAT, ACT and PSAT, with the SSAT Middle Level and the ISEE Lower Level (its tutor page lists other levels as coming soon), and it adds the SHSAT and TACHS, New York's high-school entrance tests. It lists 29 full-length SAT tests and the Desmos calculator in its test screen, sends parents a full score report by link with no account needed, and publishes a yearly price per student for tutors. Its white-label is free from 21 students, with a one-time fee below that. Compared in detail: PrepMora vs HighScores.ai.
Best for: Centers that prepare students for several admissions tests, especially New York City's, and schools that need a published data processing agreement.
MentoMind
Like Test Innovators, it sells to students as well as to tutoring businesses, and it covers the HSPT alongside the SAT and ACT, with the ISEE listed as coming soon. It adds a course builder, worksheets turned into auto-graded homework, AI question generation from your own materials and payment collection from families, and lists 11 full-length SAT tests. Institutions get a quote, and its licence agreement provides for a one-time white-label setup fee. Compared in detail: PrepMora vs MentoMind.
Best for: Tutoring businesses that teach several exams, want course building and AI question generation, and collect payments from families in the same platform.
PanoPrep
Narrower than Test Innovators: digital SAT mock tests only, 26 full-length papers written by its test experts, run in test rooms with a passcode, with class analytics down to each answer choice. Like Test Innovators it publishes prices for students, per paper, and quotes institutions; its console carries your institution's name.
Best for: Schools and centers that want SAT mock tests run in test rooms and priced per paper.
PrepareBuddy
It covers 15 exams, leaning to English and graduate tests (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, GRE and GMAT) where Test Innovators leans to school admissions tests. Its SAT tests are generated by AI on request rather than drawn from a fixed set, and its white-label, with your domain, logo and colours and your brand on every login page, result, report and email, goes live in 24 to 48 hours with no setup fee. Institutions get a quote, and the first month is free.
Best for: Institutes that teach many exams, especially English tests, and want AI-generated tests with no limit.
StudySpaces
Like Test Innovators it covers the SSAT and ISEE as well as the SAT and PSAT, with official ACT materials as an add-on, but it is not sold to students: it sells to tutoring and test-prep businesses, with school and district programs on a quote. It lists 8 full-length SAT tests with built-in Desmos, sends automated recurring parent reports, and adds a live whiteboard and auto-grading of scanned paper tests. It publishes its prices per active student, and white-label is included in every plan. Its referral and NTPA pages mention a standard one-time setup fee, waived for referred businesses and NTPA members; its pricing page does not mention one.
Best for: Tutoring businesses that teach the ACT, SSAT or ISEE as well as the SAT, want official ACT materials and run lessons in the same platform.
Test Ninjas
Like Test Innovators, it is a student prep brand with a classroom for educators. Its student site also sells SSAT, ISEE, HSPT, SHSAT and TACHS prep, while its classroom for educators covers the SAT, ACT and AP, with 20 full-length SAT tests, 60 section modules and 433 skill problem sets, and parent reports with section scores. Educator licences are one-time, one per student per exam, with no platform subscription and no teacher-seat fees; unused licences never expire, and every new classroom comes with three free student accounts.
Best for: Centers that teach the SAT, ACT and AP and want lessons and tests in one classroom.
TutorWand
It covers the SAT and GRE and charges per test attempt rather than per seat, which can suit a smaller center; institutes get a quote by number of attempts. It adds AI diagnostic reports, study plans and reports for parents and management, and puts its tests, reports and dashboards under your own brand, with your logo and messaging on request.
Best for: Smaller centers that would rather pay per test attempt than per seat.
VEGA AI
It covers the SAT, SHSAT, ACT and AP with graduate and English tests (GRE, GMAT and TOEFL) rather than the private-school admissions tests, and lists 15 full-length SAT tests. It builds what it calls adaptive paths and an AI avatar from your own content, and its blog describes an owner dashboard of students, progress and revenue. It publishes monthly plans by number of active users, with your logo and colours on the user portal from its Growth plan and a fully domain-masked portal on Enterprise.
Best for: Institutes that want an AI avatar trained on their own content and courses beyond the SAT.
VindicaOS
Focused on the digital SAT and AP, where Test Innovators spreads across six exams. Its full-length SAT mocks use Rasch-equated scoring, though it does not state how many there are. Its AI drafts homework from each student's misses for the teacher to approve, parent reports wait for the teacher's review, and it publishes a monthly price per active student, with white-label at no extra cost.
Best for: SAT academies that want a published per-student price, AI-drafted homework and a published privacy and compliance pack.
How to switch without disrupting your students
- Switch between groups, or run both. Start the next group on the new platform and let the current one finish on Test Innovators, so nothing moves mid-course.
- Ask who does the set-up. PrepMora is turnkey: we set it all up for you. EdisonOS, HighScores.ai and MentoMind also set it up for you.
- Judge it on your own students. Before you sign, have a few students sit a full-length test on the platform and look at what you get back. PrepMora's one-week trial already runs under your brand.
How to decide
Start from what you teach: if the ISEE, SSAT or HSPT run through your center alongside the SAT, keep to the platforms that cover them; if the digital SAT is the whole program, an SAT-only platform gives you more of it. Then shortlist two or three and run the same checks in each demo: take a full-length test as a student and look for the Desmos calculator, open a parent report as a parent would, and see your own logo on the student pages. Our 12-point checklist lists what to test, and the full list of twelve SAT platforms has every fact side by side.
