The short answer
Choose MentoMind if you teach several exams, want to build your own courses and turn worksheets into homework, or want to collect payments from families in the same platform. Choose PrepMora if you teach the digital SAT only and want 40 full-length tests in the Bluebook format with built-in Desmos, parent reports in one of eight languages that your mentor edits and sends, and white-label included from the free trial.

What the two have in common
Both are white-label platforms for tutoring businesses: your students see your logo and colours, and both can run on your own web address. Both cover the digital SAT with full-length practice tests and questions tagged by skill, give teachers cohorts or classes and homework, and give parents progress reports. Neither publishes its prices for tutoring businesses: MentoMind quotes each institution, and PrepMora goes through prices on the demo call. If those are your only requirements, either will do, and the choice comes down to the differences below.
Where MentoMind may suit you better
- More exams. MentoMind covers the digital SAT, ACT and HSPT, plus AP Math and PSSA courses, some of them made by partners, and lists the ISEE and PSAT as coming soon. PrepMora covers the digital SAT only.
- Courses and homework you build. MentoMind has a course builder that works from your own materials, turns worksheets into auto-graded homework, and offers AI question generation from those materials.
- Payments from families. MentoMind lets you sell self-prep access or tutoring packages and collect payment in the same flow. PrepMora does not handle payments from families.
- One view across branches. MentoMind describes an organisation-wide view across branches or campuses, with dashboards for teachers, administrators and parents, and item analysis.
- A chatbot under your brand. Students get a 24/7 AI chatbot, and the licence agreement lets you give it your own name and icon.
- A published licence agreement. MentoMind's licence agreement is public: a 99.5% availability commitment with service credits, clauses on COPPA, FERPA and CCPA, and a complete data export with up to 90 days of help if you leave.
Where PrepMora is different
- 40 full-length SAT tests. Each is a full-length 98-question practice test in the Bluebook format, with the same modules, question counts and timing as the real test. MentoMind lists 11 full-length SAT tests (one section of its SAT page says 10). A program with a practice test every two weeks over three months uses six per student, and a student who repeats the course or prepares for a second sitting needs fresh ones.
- Built-in Desmos, as on test day. PrepMora's Math modules have built-in Desmos, and the Math explanations show the Desmos keystrokes step by step. MentoMind's SAT course has built-in Desmos, according to one of its blog posts (a comparison table elsewhere on its site marks it N/A), so check it in the demo.
- Parent reports your mentor sends, in one of eight languages. Every two weeks the mentor gets a report draft in English, Turkish, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, French, Hindi or Urdu, edits it, adds the personal part and sends it as a PDF. Nothing reaches a family automatically. MentoMind lists shareable and downloadable parent reports, parent dashboards and automated status emails, and its white-label covers parent communication under your business name; its website does not say which languages its reports come in.
- White-label at no extra cost. Your logo, colour and own web address are included from the free trial, and the “Powered by PrepMora” line can be turned off. MentoMind calls white-labelling a core feature rather than an add-on; its licence agreement has MentoMind do the set-up, with a staging site to review before launch, and provides for a one-time setup fee.
- A mentor panel built around the teacher's week. It opens on what needs a mentor today: lessons, overdue homework, a score that dropped, a student who went quiet. A lesson calendar shows what each lesson changed in the student's results.
- An AI-scored reading drill. Students read a passage against the clock, summarize it from memory, and AI scores the summary: 600 passages across five levels.
- A trial under your brand. After a 30-minute demo, your students get a one-week free trial that already runs under your academy's brand. MentoMind offers a free plan to students who sign up on their own and a demo for businesses.
Switching from MentoMind to PrepMora
On PrepMora we do the set-up, and nothing has to move before your students start.
- Nothing has to move. You can keep MentoMind and start one group on PrepMora beside it. Students start with a key, so there is no data to import first.
- Turnkey set-up. Send your logo and your main colour, and we set everything up. Your own web address can be set up for the trial too.
- Familiar for students. The test screen looks and works like the real digital SAT, so the first session can be a full practice test.
- Ready for mentors on day one. All 40 practice tests and the 3,770-question bank are there from the start, each question with an explanation, and the mentor panel opens on what needs a mentor today.
- Judge it on your own students. Have them sit a full practice test in the first days of the trial. By the end of the week you can see their skill reports and open a parent report draft for each of them.
- If you stop, nothing is lost. The data is locked, not deleted. When you come back, every student's history is still there.
Which one fits your tutoring business
Choose MentoMind if you teach the ACT or HSPT alongside the SAT, you run several branches or campuses and want one view across them, you want to build your own courses or turn worksheets into homework, you want an AI chatbot under your brand, or you want families to pay you inside the same platform.
Choose PrepMora if you teach the digital SAT only, your students take many full-length tests over a course, you want built-in Desmos in the test and the Desmos keystrokes in the explanations, your families read reports in a language other than English, or you want every parent report to pass through your mentor before it goes out.
Either way, hold both to the same checks before you decide: our 12-point checklist for choosing a white-label SAT platform lists them, with how to test each one in a demo.
