What the two have in common

Both are white-label: your students see your academy's logo and name, and both can run on your own web address. Both give students a test screen in the Bluebook format with the Desmos calculator, tag every answer by skill so a teacher sees which skills cost points, and keep a student's history when access ends rather than deleting it. If those are your only requirements, either will do, and the choice comes down to the differences below.

Where EdisonOS may suit you better

  • More exams. EdisonOS covers the digital SAT, ACT, PSAT, SHSAT and five AP subjects on one platform. PrepMora covers the digital SAT only.
  • Your own questions. EdisonOS lets you build full-length tests, sections and problem sets from your own question bank, and its AI extractor turns PDFs and images of questions into tagged digital questions.
  • Published pricing. EdisonOS shows its academy plans, test credits and per-student licences on its pricing page, with a cost estimator; Enterprise and schools are priced by quote. PrepMora does not publish prices: they are gone through on the demo call.
  • A parent login. EdisonOS gives parents their own login to follow progress live, and exports branded PDF reports. PrepMora has no parent login.
  • Schools and integrations. EdisonOS offers Clever single sign-on for schools, and an API and webhooks on its Enterprise plan.

Where PrepMora is different

  • 40 full-length SAT tests. Each is a full-length 98-question practice test in the Bluebook format, written to the digital SAT's specification; EdisonOS lists 15 full-length SAT mocks (one FAQ on its SAT page says 20). A program with a practice test every two weeks over three months uses six per student, and a student who repeats the course or prepares for a second sitting needs fresh ones.
  • Parent reports your mentor sends, in one of eight languages. Every two weeks the mentor gets a report draft in English, Turkish, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, French, Hindi or Urdu, edits it, adds the personal part and sends it as a PDF. Nothing reaches a family automatically. EdisonOS's website does not say which languages its reports come in.
  • A mentor panel built around the teacher's week. It opens on what needs a mentor today: lessons, overdue homework, a score that dropped, a student who went quiet. A lesson calendar shows what each lesson changed in the student's results.
  • Desmos keystrokes in the Math explanations. Every question has an explanation, and Math explanations go step by step, including the Desmos route a student can type on test day.
  • An AI-scored reading drill. Students read a passage against the clock, summarize it from memory, and AI scores the summary: 600 passages across five levels.
  • A trial under your brand. After a 30-minute demo, your students get a one-week free trial that already runs under your academy's brand. EdisonOS's help center says white-labelling is not available during its trial.

Switching from EdisonOS to PrepMora

On PrepMora we do the set-up, and nothing has to move before your students start.

  • Nothing has to move. You can keep EdisonOS and start one group on PrepMora beside it. Students start with a key, so there is no data to import first.
  • Turnkey set-up. Send your logo and your main colour, and we set everything up. Your own web address can be set up for the trial too.
  • Familiar for students. The test screen looks and works like the real digital SAT, so the first session can be a full practice test.
  • Ready for mentors on day one. All 40 practice tests and the 3,770-question bank are there from the start, each question with an explanation, and the mentor panel opens on what needs a mentor today.
  • Judge it on your own students. Have them sit a full practice test in the first days of the trial. By the end of the week you can see their skill reports and open a parent report draft for each of them.
  • If you stop, nothing is lost. The data is locked, not deleted. When you come back, every student's history is still there.

Which one fits your academy

Choose EdisonOS if you teach the ACT, PSAT, SHSAT or AP alongside the SAT, you have your own question bank to put online, you want to estimate an academy plan's cost yourself before talking to anyone, or you are a school that needs single sign-on.

Choose PrepMora if you teach the digital SAT only, your students take many full-length tests over a course, your families read reports in a language other than English, or you want every parent report to pass through your mentor before it goes out.

Either way, hold both to the same checks before you decide: our 12-point checklist for choosing a white-label SAT platform lists them, with how to test each one in a demo.
