Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026. PrepMora is a small, independent SAT-prep project. This page explains, in plain language, what data exists, who controls it, who else can see it, what rights you have over it, and how to get rid of it.

1. What we collect, and why

PrepMora accounts are opened with an activation key, usually handed out by your school or course. Everything below exists so that you can practise, see your own progress on any device, and so that your mentor can help you. We do not show ads, we do not use analytics or tracking tools, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone for marketing.

All of this is stored in our database, run by Supabase on servers in the European Union (Ireland), encrypted at rest. Only you, the mentors of your own school and PrepMora's administrators can read it (Section 8).

Voice input in the Reading drill is optional: if you choose to speak your summary, your browser sends the audio to its own speech-to-text service (Section 3). PrepMora never receives the audio, only the text you submit.

The demo booking form on the home page is for academies, not students. If you fill it in and continue to the calendar, your name, academy name, work email, optional phone number and your three answers are passed to our scheduling provider, Cal.com (Section 3), and reach us with the booking so we can prepare the call. Nothing is sent until you press Continue to calendar, and nothing is stored if you leave before booking.

2. Deleting your data

There are two different things you can delete.

3. Other companies involved

Three companies process data for us to run PrepMora. They handle it on our behalf, not for their own purposes:

Loading a page also makes your browser fetch a few files directly from other companies' servers. Each of them can see your IP address and browser information as a normal side effect of serving that request; none of them receives your practice data.

Several of these companies are based in the USA, so data may be transferred to and processed there. Our own database stays in the EU.

4. Cookies

PrepMora itself does not set cookies, and no cookie-consent banner is shown because none is needed. Your sign-in is kept in your browser's storage: until you sign out if you ticked "Remember me on this device", otherwise only until you close the tab. Your color-theme choice is stored the same way. None of it is used to track you across sites. The Cal.com booking calendar, once an academy opens it, may set its own cookies under Cal.com's policy.

5. How long we keep it

The copy in your browser stays until you delete it (Section 2) or your browser clears it.

6. If you're under 18

PrepMora is built for SAT-prep students, many of whom are minors. Nobody can sign up on their own: an account needs an activation key, and keys go to schools and courses, which hand them to their own students. The school decides who gets a key and is responsible for getting a parent's or guardian's consent where the law requires it. We ask a student for nothing beyond an email address, a nickname and a password, and we never use a student's data for marketing.

7. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Depending on your location (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or Turkey's KVKK), you may also have formal rights to restrict or object to how your data is used, to take it elsewhere, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Write to us using Section 12 from the email address your account uses; we answer within one month. A parent or guardian of a student under 18 can make these requests on the student's behalf.

8. What your mentor and your school see

A mentor sees only the students of their own school, never anyone else's, and PrepMora's administrators can see every account in order to run and support the service. Your mentor sees:

None of the per-question detail ever goes into the report a parent receives (Section 10).

9. Who has opened your account

Your mentor — and PrepMora's own administrators — can open your account and see it exactly as you see it. That's how a mentor checks a plan or works out where you're stuck, and it's a normal part of what a school or course is paying for. What they get is a read-only view of your account: the same pages and the same practice history, but they cannot answer questions, take tests or change anything in it.

So every single time it happens, it's written down, and you get to read the list. There is no way for a mentor or an administrator to skip that record or clear it afterwards — the request that opens your account is refused outright if the record can't be written first, and nobody has permission to delete a line once it exists. Being the person who runs the platform is a reason to be in the log, not an exemption from it. What we don't log is anything they did while they were in there.

Separately from opening your account, your mentor sees a summary of how you're doing — how many questions you've answered, your last two practice-test scores, which domains you're weakest in, and the pattern behind your tagged mistakes. That summary is counts and percentages only; it never includes the questions themselves or what you answered.

10. Reports to a parent, every two weeks

Every two weeks a short report is prepared about each student: how many practice questions were answered and what share were correct, the total time spent studying on PrepMora, how many full practice tests were taken, how many of the mentor's assignments due in those two weeks are done, and the practice-test score and the topics that moved, each against two weeks earlier and against the start. When the score did not go up, it also names the topics where the next points are. It lists the assignments currently set, so a parent can see the plan without asking for a meeting.

PrepMora never sends it to anyone by itself. The report is prepared as a draft in your mentor's panel; the mentor reads it, may add their own words, saves it as a PDF and sends it to the parent themselves. PrepMora does not collect parents' email addresses or contact parents.

It contains totals, percentages and total study time, and nothing else. A parent never sees an individual question, an answer given, or the time spent on any one question — the same limit that applies to the mentor's summary in Section 9.

You can open the same report at any time from your dashboard, built from the same numbers, so you always know what your parent is shown.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that meaningfully affects what we collect or who sees it, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and let you or your school know before the change takes effect.
